Spectacular multicolor splash hardtail!
|
(coil tap mini switches added)
Pickups are stock: DiMarzio ToneZone at bridge, PAF Pro at neck.
Tremolo Bridge: recessed Kahler (only the first dozen or so trem models made had recessed Kahlers)
Nut: Kahler locking nut
Note the partially routed holes by the switch and volume knob. Partially routed holes appear on the very earliest '94-'96 Abel Axes. My guess (judging from the brochure and what I've pieced together from serial numbers) is that only a few made in 1994 have the partially routed holes. This is one of the first trem Abel Axes ever made and a piece of guitar-making history!

Three single coil fixed bridge prototype, multicolor anodized, no serial number, modified headstock.
