This morning I fired up the Mac so I could continue to whittle down my music pile from duplicates and unwanted content within, and for still unknown reasons, Quicktime and everything else that was not quite working all of a sudden began to work properly. I was able to apply updates across the board to several pieces of software, getting just about everything up to date. I also cleaned up after the last little bits of previous owner data and was able to make a user profile to replace the existing ones. In a nutshell, I don't see anything wrong with the system any longer. Yessss! Now that that computer maintenance is out of the way, perhaps I can focus on getting back to my site. And about a hundred things I need to get done. The work of the procrastinator extraordinaire is never finished, as they say. |
