Here is my father (Maulana Abdul Quddus Sayeedi, 1901-   1999) taking lunch and my wife Shirin is serving him. My father used to have pity on the domestic animals. Here a cat is also seen to have its food behind him.

This is my family picture. The picture was taken at the Lalbager Kella in Dhaka. From left me, Shuchi, Nafees, Ruchi and Shirin.

My mother Sagira Khatun (84) is a lady with hard struggle from the very beginning of her life. She lost her mother and had a step mother at the child hood. She'd an only step brother. But we couldn't know for a long time that he (my uncle) was her step brother. Now she feels proud for her sons and already became a grand-grand mom. She was a brilliant student. She appeard in the Minor Scholarship Exam in 1939, but for world war II, the result was not published. Then she got married with my father at her fourteen.

In the picture, our eldest brother M Nurul Amin is seen in between of me and Najmul. He lives in our native village and already became a grand father. Nafees is on my lap and Najmul keeps his daughter, Sabiha. Actually I was born next to Najmul. Our age difference is only two and half years. So, among the five brothers, we always had been every where and share each other. But now-a-days, he uses to live in Canada permanently with his family.

I'm (extreme right) here with my second brother Professor Dr Ruhul Amin (middle). He is the most brilliant student of Jahangirnagar University. He broke all previous records of the university both in Honors and Masters exams respectedly in 1983 and 1984. The picture was taken at his marriage ceremony. Najmul (my 4th brother) is seen with us.

Here I'm with my third brother Maulana Aminul Islam, MM. He is an Assistant Professor in a Madrasha. He had a tragic experience studying in the Dhaka University. He was a student of Honors in Arabic Language Dept. But once, some activists of student wing of a political party attacked him only for his small beard. The attackers thought him dead and left beside the Dhaka-Aricha High Way. Some passengers took him to a hospital and fortunately he survives. But left the varsity for good. The picture was taken in 1987 at Dinajpur. At that time I was a student of higher secondary level.

In 2006, we visited hill district Rangamati. The jeep was in a problem in the hilly road. When we were lifting by stopping after every two metres, Shuchi (left) & Ruchi were busy taking picture with my mobile Nokia 6600.

Here are my two sisters Sabera Rahman (extreme left) and Tahura Ahmed (3rd from left) are taking meal with my wife Shirin (2nd from left) and my mother (extreme right). Afifa, 1st daughter of Tahura is seen with them. The picture was taken in 1991, at the marriage ceremony of Aminul Dada.
