ABATE Mission Statement
ABATE PAC - Political Action Committee - We have a PAC fund donation at every meeting and fund raising events throughout the year. ABATE BUCKS - Get people or Supporting businesses to join ABATE and you will earn ABATE BUCKS. Use bucks when you purchase ABATE items. Basic Riders Course - ABATE of IOWA members teach a motor cycle riding course designed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) Calendar - District calendar of events Contact form - District 6 form - Tell us you want added to our District 6 email list or just to contact us with a question or concern. Free Way Flyer - ABATE of IOWA Publication sent to ABATE members on a monthly basis Freedom Rally - A Huge ABATE of Iowa event that is held every year. Our District runs the beer barn and we can use your help. Lobby Day - On an annual basis we meet with our legislative representatives down at our state capital in Des Moines. Meetings - Every Month ABATE D6 members meet, officers pass on information, discussions take place, nominations are made and voting occurs. Meeting Minutes - District Minutes are published to our website and printed in the Free Way Flyer publication. Membership Description - What do you get with your membership? Membership Form - Print forms for new members; make sure you put your ABATE number on the form so you can get ABATE Bucks Officers - District Officers Officers - State Officers Share the Road - Districts have Instructors that teach this program to students and organizations throughout Iowa STEAM - ABATE of Iowa Event - Seminar To Educate And Motivate, takes place annually in November. Supporting Businesses - Businesses and Organizations that support our Organization can purchase yearly memberships Annual Charity Ride Toys for Kids - ABATE D6 event; we take coffee cans to businesses so that their customers can donate money to purchase Toys for Kids W.T.H.W.D.O.H. - ABATE D6 event - "What the hell are we doing out here" This event happens annually in March A big Thank-You goes out to member Patty Martin for coming up with this idea. Patty became a member on 03/09/2009 and her suggestion reminds us that new members can contribute to our organization too. Lets work together to make our organization better. |
