Pat Wilson, former LACIC Chair, will share important information with us about Social Security and how it will affect us personally. You don't want to miss this important meeting and your chance to ask Pat questions about Social Security. Pat currently serves as an elected assembly person for the California Senior Legislature, and she is a member of the L.A. County Commission on the Status of Women.

    Los Angeles County Interbranch Council (LACIC) is affiliated with AAUW of California (AAUW CA). LACIC is comprised of AAUW CA's 16 branches in Los Angeles County, who meet in order to connect with one another, to connect with AAUW CA, and to connect with other like-minded organizations in LA County. LACIC's bylaws state that the purpose of the organization is "to open channels of communication among branches in the city and county of Los Angeles for the sharing of ideas and interests, especially in the areas of common local governmental jurisdiction as the city, the county, the school district, the community college district, etc."

    LACIC meets bi-monthly from September [or late August] through May.
