2002, November

DNA Sampling of the Afridi Pathans/Pashtuns/Pakhtuns of Malihabad, Lucknow district, Uttar Pradesh, India - Teamed up with Prof. Tudor V. Parfit and Dr. Yulia Egorova (London University), and collected DNA samples of fifty paternally unrelated Afridi Pathans/Pashtuns/Pakhtuns in Malihabad to confirm their putative Israelite descent, thus initiating the first ever genetic research on any Pathan/Pashtun/Pakhtun tribe in history.
