Art has immense benefits for persons with acquired brain injury, as well as their family and community. However, once we leave therapeutic programs, of which art is a significant component, we lose access to services and supplies that allow us to engage in artistic endeavors. Resources are necessary for us to continue providing opportunities for BI Survivors to continue with art.
 
You can support AABIS by:
  • Joining us (Membership is $15.00/year)
  • Telling others about us
  • Donating your time
  • Donating resources (art supplies, monetary donations)
  • Donating your skills (teach a class, help with events)
  • Purchasing our artwork and cards
  • Enjoying our art!

WISH LIST
 
Providing supplies for our members on a shoe-string budget is a challenge.
 
Here are items we are always in need of and would
much appreciate if you have them to donate:
  • brushes - for watercolor or acrylics
  • paint - artists watercolor or acrylics (in tubes)
  • frames that can be hung by wire (14 x 17 or larger)
  • matt board
  • display for table top (portable- not heavy)
  • Arches 140 lb watercolor paper
  • Canvases (stretched on wood frame)
  • table top easels
