Beginners' Class and Blog

Starting January 30th, we are teaching an eight session beginner class.

Learn the basics needed to join in on jigs, reels, and strathspeys--an introduction to a lifetime of fun!

The beginner class is more instruction focused than a typical social class, but still full of fun dances.  We'll do two "intro" weeks in a row and then go on to building on previous lessons.

Each week before class our blog is updated with lesson plans, dance instructions and other information.  Check it out to find the dances you liked in class, or to help you get a little more prepared beforehand.

We will continue with the regular social dances on Mondays.  Beginners are always welcome.

Families welcome.  No partner necessary.

We meet Mondays from 7.30 to 9.30 pm.  The location is Gretchen's House #5 Barn in Ann Arbor
Rides and carpools available from campus. Let us know if you need transportation!
