Many of you have been wondering why the location and date for A2F had to change. If you have not been informed, please take a moment to read the following: Recently, the A2F staff was informed that the Clarion Hotel and Sleep Inn in Bentonville were closing. This was the owners decision due to reasons unknown. Both locations closed their doors on September 15th. Due to the closing, we were forced to find a new venue for the Festival, and due to the late notice, our original dates were no longer available at any other venue. After spending many phone calls, meetings, and sleepless nights, we were able to book the new venue. The Fall 2011 A2F will now be held here: The Holiday Inn and Convention Center, Springdale 1500 S. 48th St. Springdale, AR, 72764 Phone: (479) 479-751-8300 The new dates are: December 2, 3, and 4, 2011 We apologize for any inconvenience. Our staff made what they felt was the best decision given the options and circumstances. The new dates do allow for the Festival to be a 3 day show this year, with activities beginning around 4pm on Friday, December 2. All Pre-Reg purchases will still be honored and are valid for all three days. The Holiday Inn will be offering a discount to those attending the show. A room rate of $74.99 will be given to those who call the hotel and ask for the "Arkansas Anime Festival Rate". It is the hope of the A2F staff that everyone will still be able to join us for the festival. The Arkansas Anime Festival has become a large part of the community and we would like for it to continue growing.
