Company Biographies:


Eliot Bradshaw is a theatre production student at London University, and has been responsible for the lighting and stage management of a number of small scale London productions.

   

Fiona Bruce trained at Studio '68 in London and Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris. Theatre credits include the lead role in 'Mother Courage' (Watford Palace Theatre), Camille Claudel in 'The Waltz' (West Yorkshire Playhouse), Jenny in 'Threepenny Opera' (London Bubble Theatre), and Olga in 'Playing for Time' (Salisbury Playhouse). TV credits include 'Last of The Summer Wine', 'The Royal', 'Emmerdale', 'Where the Heart is', 'Heartbeat', 'Prime Suspect', 'The Ward', and 'Grange Hill'. More recently Fiona worked with Brighton based theatre company 'Bandbazi', in their production of 'Breakfast at Audrey's' (playing Audrey Hepburn's Mum!).Fiona lives in Brighton (with her family) so she's delighted to be working locally again (with A27!).

Jane Churchill trained at Wimbledon School of Art. She has designed and realised sets and costumes for many shows across the South East and London fringe including Jungle Book, 1984, Clockwork Orange, Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Trinity Theatre Tunbridge Wells), Winnie the Pooh, (Brighton Theatre Royal and South East Tour), Ring of Roses, (Gardner Arts and the Savoy Theatre, London). She also designed site specifically for productions such as Shadowplay (installation, Rose of Kingston), Romeo and Juliet (St Andrew’s Vaults, London). Jane is a visual artist and arts consultant, exhibiting work inspired by memory, imaginary worlds and sacred myths.

Christopher Ettridge. An actor of more than thirty years experience, probably best known as the dim policeman Reg Deadman in the BBC series “Goodnight Sweetheart” with Nicholas Lyndhurst. He has worked in repertory theatres all round the country and also with The Royal Court, The Royal Shakespeare Company, The National Theatre and in London’s West End. As a director, Christopher has done many productions with drama students at The Drama Centre and other conservatoire drama schools in London and the USA. He has also directed at repertory theatres in the UK. “Dinner at Mirandolina’s” is Christopher’s first venture as a producer.

Peter Faulkner Actor/musician for 22 years and best known for performances on Brookside and HolyOaks. Winner of a Barclay’s New Stages Award for his devised piece, ‘The Devine Ecstasy of Destruction.’ Has worked for most of the UK’s major repertory theatres and in west end musicals, radio and TV. Locally, has recently featured as actor/ musical director on ‘Fire In The Fields.’ For his own company, The Company he played in ‘And His name Was …Jim.’ Founder member of Light On Life which specializes in ceremonial arts for all life’s events. Also a founder of the band Tongue & Groove.

George Franco trained at Rose Bruford College and has played roles ranging from Alphonse in "On The Verge" at the ICA, the Ugly Sister in a UK tour of "Cinderella", a mental patient in "Two Chairs" at the Adam Street  Studios and a Colombian immigrant  in "Inside Out" on a UK tour. Films include Eucalyptus, in which he played a WW2 doctor, the Zombie in "Dawn of the Zombies", an Iraq war veteran in "Escape". Recently George was at Hampstead Theatre as Wrath in Headlong's "Faustus”. His latest  role was the Sea Captain in a new adaptation of "Twelfth Night" at The Theatre Royal, Northampton.

Richard Hahlo trained in theatre at Exeter University and at the University of California, San Diego. Has appeared in plays all over Britain touring schools, community centres, and regional theatres; including Red Shift Theatre ‘Frida & Diego’ (Edinburgh Fringe First winner), West Yorkshire Playhouse ‘Kvetch’, Contact Manchester ‘Metamorphosis’. In London’s West End ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’. For the National Theatre ‘The Wandering Jew’, ‘Countrymania’ (by Goldoni) and Education tours of ‘Henry V’ and ‘The Tempest’. For the RSC ‘Hamlet’. Locally he has played in ‘The Young Visiters’ (Paddock Productions) and ‘The New World Order’ (Brighton Festival). He lives in Lewes.

Directing includes:Grimm Tales (Unicorn Theatre),Max’sTales (Operas by Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, SoundsNew Festival) Heads or Tails (Big Brum Theatre) and productions for Glyndebourne Education and Trinity Youth Theatre

Mark Shayle trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. He has worked extensively in the theatre and corporate sectors, for 22 years as a freelance Stage, Production & General Manager. He is a former Course Director of the LAMDA Stage Management and Technical Theatre course. When not freelancing, Mark is the General Manager for The Paddock and arts organisation based in Lewes. Mareike Wagner Originally from Norway, she attended the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where roles included Jacqueline Kennedy in the European premier of ‘First Lady Suite’ and Feste in ‘Twelfth Night’. After graduating in 2006, Mareike moved to London and made her debut at the Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond, as Aladdin in Aladdin and His Magic Lamp followed by a small tour of Beauty and the Beast where she played Beauty. She was also in ‘Mayor of Zalamea’ at the Everyman Theatre, directed by Gemma Bodinetz.

Joe Young Trained at Drama Centre; recent theatre includes Simon in “I have before me a remarkable document given to me by a young lady from Rwanda” (tour); Jackson in The Hired Man (Salisbury Playhouse); Lt. Bus Adams in South Pacific (National Theatre); Macheath in The Beggars Opera (Queens, Hornchurch); Bill Sikes in Oliver! (Palladium); Sammy in Blood Brothers (Phoenix Theatre).
On TV, the conductor in the recent BBC2 Proms ident; King Ferdinand in Christopher Columbus DNA (Discovery Channel), Jake in Dark Realm (Warner Brothers), London’s Burning, Lytton’s Diary and Doctor Who. Joe is also an award-winning soundtrack composer
