I just had to post this. This dishwasher is 38 years old and it still works. I had the best time tonight. I went to visit my old neighbors I grew up with. I have not seen them in about 16 years. I brought pictures of the old neighborhood, we talked and laughed and reminisced. It was almost like being home. My old house is 2 doors down and they thought maybe I would like to go visit. The people that bought the house from my sister and I, still live there. I declined. I felt I would have gotten too emotional and might embarrass myself. It took a long time to get over selling it. The next thing is to connect the water supply hoses. Remember that the store-bought supply hose is 5/8" and the dishwasher hose ends with a garden-hose connector? Luckily the dishwasher came with a converter connector that lets me connect the different-sized hoses. Kids, remember to use teflon tape and wrap around the male threads before putting it into the other end.
