About

My ham C.V.

Some facts about my HAM live:

  • Licensed from 1979.

    • This first years I  was very active in radio club 9A1CAL on 2m.
  • From 1982 I got first transceiver   IC 202 S.

    • My first call was YU2SOM, and after B class exam  YT2HZ.
    • In 1992 we proudly got Country and new 9A calls: my was 9A3HZ.
  • Next period of 10 years was dedicated to  work on 6m, new band in 9A.

    • I started with 2W and 5 el short Yagi and I finished with IC706 and 7el LY on 15m telescopic  mast.
    • Many nice moments, QSO s, 9A firsts were reached this days.
      • I must highlight QSOs with JA hams , USA hams, long path QSO with Hawaii and ZL for ODX short path.
      • TEP, Auroras and MS work was also part of dance on magical band.
    • DXCC for 6m as crown  for this work I got in 2000. This was also condition for the 1 latter call sing: I got 9A1Z ( thanks Mark!).
  •  From the 2004 I am active on 3cm band.

    • I am proud on my transverter design with which I spend many, many hours experimenting  and listening on 10GHz to become very skill with narrow, tricky elevation offset antenna and with all kind of clouds. 10 GHz give me new view of Mother Nature.
    • Mate, 9A4M  give me courage and Pepi, 9A4RJ was my mentor and support during this project.
  • 4m band:

    • 8 W transverter were ready from February 2005.
    • First QSOs  were made with single dipole.
    • Now I am QRV with 4 el Yagi.
  • With 23cm I was started  from IARU UHF SHF 2006.

    • Beginners luck and I manage to rich 1 st place  in 9A  without  any single QSO beffore contest  with this RIG (thanks goes to DB6NT and Mike).
