jamie oliver's 20 minute meals
With the availability of so many high quality free apps, I'm usually hesitant to spend more than $0.00 ~ but I threw caution to the wind yesterday and invested in Jamie Oliver's "20 minute meals". And last night, it more than paid for itself in flavour points alone, when I made his pork chow mein ~ absolutely delicious, and so EASY. It's like a beautiful virtual cookbook, with 50+ recipes, step-by-step photo instructions, and over an hour and a half of video tips from JO himself. Add to that an extremely intuitive and well-designed interface, and you've got the perfect cooking app! Best $7.99 I ever spent. :)
Cooking for One - Quesadillas
I was shooting a video review of a Wustof chef's knife today for Amazon and, on the spur, decided to do a cooking show while I was making my lunch. I look a mess (was just back from the gym), and I've got major underarm wattle (aka kimono arms) but it was fun. :)
