Thank you Stingrays !!!

I'd like to take this time and thank the various people, players and families that have made the past 4 years of my coaching an absolute joy.  It has been a difficult decision but as many of you know, I have decided to step down from coaching the 97 Plymouth Stingrays. I want to personally thank the various families that have shown their gratitude and support through many of the emails that I have received over the past couple days. It is nice to know that the time, energy and commitment that I and my family have given to this team is valued. With that I want to acknowledge and thank other individuals that have helped me over the years.

Coaches
I'm not sure that a lot of parents understand the level of commitment and interaction that coaches have in developing and guiding young players to attain their goals. Their have been many coaches over these years the I believe were instrumental in helping shape our vision of teamwork and ultimately prepare for competition. I appreciate you and thank you for your help...  Hodgson, Barber, Gorski, Denomie, Newsom, Zwarych, Campbell, Verkerke, Medonis (off-ice) and Smith (power skating).

Volunteers
There is certainly more to building a successful program than just coaching. Many parents have stepped up and offered a hand in helping manage, book keeping, schedules, events, game sheet/score clock support, and fundraising. We as a team thank you for everything that you've done and the time that you spent for our players.

PCHA
With the many years of coaching it has become apparent that the strength of a team comes from the support of their organization. I couldn't have been happier with the support that I have received from our hockey association. Thank you.

Players
What can I say other than it was a tremendous honor to be able to coach and lead you through the highs and lows. I appreciate your hard work and dedication to the game. Although I will miss coaching and the continued achievement in reaching your goals, I'm thankful for the time we had together, the challenges, the rewards and ultimately our love for the game.

Regards,

Coach Brandon
