Life in the NW

.:Brianna and I:.

Brianna Christine Black and I met our freshman year at West Linn High School here in Oregon. We hit it off as good friends that year and after a looong summer of thinking of her I finally worked up the nerve to ask her out our sophmore year two weeks into the year. We have been happily together ever since.

Now 4 and a half years later we are still together and still very happy. Brianna now lives with me and my Dad ,and pet cat Misty, in our two bedroom apartment. We all get along and have lots of fun together watching movies and telling funny stories. We often get in long drawn out converstions long into the night discussing various things.

I plan one day to marry  Brianna when we're more financially stable and are ready to 'seal the deal' as they say. I love her very much and enjoy spending the majority of my time with her, We have found a great balance of helping and loving each other through the best and worst of times.

Well snow has plagued us here in the Northwest for the last few weeks, soooo naturally Brianna and I decided to walk around in it. This was before all of the snow froze and turned into a down right inconvienence.

.:She said YES!:.
Well in case you haven't heard yet, I asked Brianna to marry me! I asked on our anniversary,
September 13, 2009. It was a great day full of fun, I proposed at a protected wildlife
park near our old high school. We had many fond memories up there so I thought it would be more than
appropriate. After almost screwing up the proposal by nearly dropping the ring off a 30ft cliff! I managed
to save what was left of my dignity and asked =)

We then went to the Portland Zoo, because Brianna loves animals soooo much! The weather turned out to
be perfect. We then went out to the melting pot in downtown Portland and ate as much fondue
as our stomachs could handle.  All in all we are very excited and have been planning a wedding ever since.

We plan on getting married in 2011 when we are both 21 and almost finished with school. I'll keep you
all posted! =)
