I took most of the pictures you see with by today's standards an  inexpensive camera, some were even taken with my camera phone. Many images will appear orange and some green. These pictures also have a way of making everything look small. You might have to schedule a visit to see for yourself but at least this will give you a good idea. Unfortunately my camera quit working so I didn't get all the pictures that I had wanted to... might give me an excuse to pick up that Canon G9 that I have been looking at. Check back, I still may add more photos. Until then enjoy the tour!

Front door looking in at night. The brass house numbers you see I bought in Germany when I was in the Army and mailed them to dad for Christmas.

I always thought the house looked best at night especially on the inside. This is partially why I purposely took some night pics for myself.

If it looks warm in this house it's because it is, no drafts around here.  Dad brags about how moderate the temperate is throughout the house.

Here dad was taking a picture of his roses. The awnings are removed for the season but when hung gives the house more character. The awnings also provide a thermal benefit.

This house may appear to be a medium size home from the curb but it's actually 2700 sq ft. I think the high pitch roof might help give this illusion. The house is deeper than it is wide and there is a second floor. Notice dad's green thumb around the house. That's dear old dad walking up the driveway.

This is a view of the living room as you walk in from the foyer.  The room as others will, appears small in the pictures. If you take real tour I bet you will agree the house seems bigger on the inside. The 9 foot tall ceilings probably make the rooms look a little skinny.

Another view of the living room from the den. By the way, ALL WINDOW HANGING STAY WITH THE HOUSE. My step mom paid big money for them. I think it was in the office where she said she paid about $500 a piece for them not to mention the rest of the house.

A day photo. Since I'm not a great photographer and my camera isn't that great I used mostly night photos. Not only that but my camera over heated before I could get all the shots wanted.

In this picture I'm standing near the fireplace facing the den and the foyer. Notice the ceiling beams and 7 inch solid oak base throughout the house.

This is a picture of the den which could be used as an office. Our family, large one at that, piled in here like a new volkswagon record to play a video game.

This is the wall paper in the den. All rooms that have wall paper had the switch and outlet plates covered by a professional decorator. My step mom paid 20 grand for a interior decorator which included little or no funiture.

By the way if the room has painted walls the switch and outlet covers are a decorative metal coverings, not your typical plastic covering.

Another picture of the den looking out into the living room. The sliding glass door you see works better than it did in 1923.  All the glass is original.

Dining room of course looking toward the living room. This picture reminds me of good food. Dad makes a mean prime rib on the grill as a Christmas tradition.

Solid brass hinges througout, NOT your wimpy sorta brass looking hinges.

Another dining room picture.

Walking into the kitchen from the dining room. Check out the high-end appliances less than 3 years old. ALL THE KITCHEN APPLIANCES GO WITH THE HOUSE!  Big score for you.

Same place as above, just a little different angle. Did I really leave my Dr. Pepper on the counter? Gosh! How unprofessional can I be? You get the picture right?

Solid brass Baldwin door knob. Trust me... you wouldn't want to get hit in the tooth by this thing.

Before I took this picture I told myself not to forget about the window hangings. I sorta forgot about the valance here. Anyway it's consistent with the rose theme in the room.

This kitchen picture shows the dinette off to the right and the dining room off to the left. Gobs of cupboard space here, enough for a large Martha Stewart family.

Morning kitchen picture. This was the morning after I started taking pictures. I forgot turn off the date stamp.

All the kitchen and dinette cupboards were hand built by dad including this French double pantry.

5 burner glass top stove. Thing can make a nice breakfest. My step-mom bought a $170 skillet just to feed our big family the morning after x-mas. By the way, the microwave is giant on the inside.

Enclosed bottom drawer fridge/freezer. If you've never had one before they are really nice.

Whisper quite dishwasher.  High efficiency of course as are all the appliances. I think those are corian countertops but I can't get dad on the phone to confirm. I'll update this when I remember to.

Picture of the dinette off the kitchen. It used to be a part of a bedroom which also made space for a bath and a closet.

Etched glass window which belongs to the half bath I was telling you about in the above caption.

Half bath across the hallway from the dining room.

Downstairs hallway. There are only 2 hallways in the house with 2700 square feet of living space. Pretty good use of space. This view is from the half bath to a full bath. You can see a central-vac port on the wall to the right.

This is the full bath you could see from the hallway above. To your right out of view is a boys bedroom and to left would be another bedroom currently used as an office/sitting room.

The full bath down stairs dubs as the laundry room. Sorry, the washer and dryer do not stay with the house. This area was an add on to the house.

This is a bench/storage cabinet. You can sorta make out the cushion which exactly matches the wall paper. Dad had a way of installing formica where chemicals were stored. You can find this in other areas of the house.

Once again the full bath looking toward the other end of the hallway.

This is know as the boys room or masculine room. This room was really hard to get a decent picture. It's one of those you just have to see for yourself.

The bed spread matches the drapes. The closet to the right runs the full length of the wall.

Currently this room is used for an office/sitting room. The only thing that makes it this way is the furniture. It could easily be used as a bedroom. Dad made the console and desk that you'll see in this room.

Another view of the office, closet is off to the right and door is on the left.

Office/bedroom closet.

Another view of the office/bedroom closet. You can see the wand and hose for the central vac system. There are two sets in the house, one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

Up stairs hallway looking toward the master bedroom. None of the 2nd floor existed when dad bought the house. It's completely new and looks just like the rest of the house which looks, well... new.

Photo from the master bedroom side of the hallway. The feminine or girls bedroom is off to the right and storage room to the left.

Just a shot looking down into the dining room.

View of the master bedroom as you walk in from the hallway. This house is so quite you'll hear your ears ring at bedtime. Dad furred all the exterior walls (upstairs and down stairs) to 6 inches and added an extra layer of styrofoam which make for a great thermal and sound insulator. Did I mention the vinyl double pane windows which give additional thermal and sound insulation.

Master bedroom view looking toward hallway door on right and full bath on left. Not a very good photo, my lights are too bright and dim areas are too dark.

A shot taken standing near the full bath. Sorry I some how overlooked the bathroom pics.

A picture of the girls bedroom standing near the hallway door. I almost forgot, the carpet through out is the high quality stuff.

Storage room across from the girls bedroom. Technically it can't be called a bedroom since it doesn't have a window or a closet. Realistically it could easily be used for a baby's room. You would have to add a window and a closet to legitimately call it a 5th bedroom. So this is a four bedroom house with potential to make a 5th smaller bedroom.

Storage room looking toward the Girls bedroom.

Running short on a deadline to move in, dad had some Amish folks build the garage. Believe it or not, it cost more build the garage in 1991, than it did to purchase the house and land it sat on in 1982.

This is a big 2 and 1/2 car garage. If you really wanted to prove a point and took the time to situate them you could probably get 5 compact cars in here. Realistically though, you're only going to park 2 in here.  Anyway, you can easily get 2 cars, a lawn mower and a few cans of paint and still have some tons of elbow room.

Back yard photo looking southwest.

Backyard looking south.

View from the garage door looking toward the house. Notice the exterior access to the basment.

High efficiency gas furnace with humidifier and air filtration system.

Of course the water heater is another high efficiency piece. On the right you can see the central vacuum system.
