Online Textbook Help.........

Do you need help with your math or language homework (sorry-not algebra) or just want extra practice?

1.      Look at the top right corner of the page assigned in the textbook (i.e page 124). You will find a red box with directions on how to get help online.

2.      Go to http://go.hrw.com

3.      Type in the keyword from the assigned page that was found in the red box (i.e MT4 3-3).

4.      Click on GUIDED PRACTICE

a.       If you do not know how to do the problem, click on SEE EXAMPLE.

5.      When you finish, click the red circle to close.

6.      Click INDEPENDENT PRACTICE if you would like to practice more problems.

1.      Go to the following link: www.il.algebra1.com

2.      Click on “online student edition”

3.      Type in the following user name & password. Do not attempt to register I have already done this for you.

User Name: ALG105IL

Password: t7es20uDla

4.      You will need to latest version of Adobe Acrobat-ask your parents first!

5.      When it loads you will see the cover of your book and a toolbar on the left.

6.      Look at the left toolbar and click on “page navigator”

7.      Select the page number for the required homework assignment. You must be patient! This could take a few seconds to a minute or more to download. Let the computer work and do not click anything else!

8.      Once the page that you selected appears, you may print the page or read from your computer screen.
