   GRADES! It is my goal to make every student successful! Students who fall below 51% during the regular week will be required to use Friday's class for make up time. If additional time is needed, the student will be required to use nutrition time and lunch to complete assignments. Tests and quizzes are open book and are intended to promote research and learning. A zero or blank grade in Illuminate, the online grading system, indicates an assignment not received. To verify and calculate your student's grade in the new grading system, simply take the statistical mean (add up all the scores and divide by the number of scores). For example: a student receives a 70, 90 and 100 percent on their first 3 assignments. This equals 260 points. Simply divide by 3. The final grade is 86.6% (87%) or a "B." Grading Scale:
