Homemade Soldering Jig (Helping Hands)
A neat tool made with a block of wood, metal clothes hanger, alligator clips, zip ties and tape. I glued the sections of hanger into holes drilled in the small piece of wood. I then zip tied and taped alligator clips to the ends. It's great for soldering, assembling, or gluing!
Setting up Jig for steam ports on mill
Used a bit of aluminium scrap to turn up a spigot to hold the cylinders, for milling and drilling. Just using a dial gauge indicator to get everything central.
