Cinema of Fear Action Figures Wave 3 - Hitchhiker (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) Cinema of Fear Action Figures Wave 3 - Hitchhiker (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) From the popular Horror franchises, comes this mind-blowing series of 7-inch tall collectible Action Figures. These grisly and gruesomely charismatic characters will more than meet your expectations in the areas of detail, accuracy, articulation, and accessories… if not good taste. The Hitchhiker from the classic Texas Chainsaw Massacre, captured for the first time in action figure form. Destined to become a fan favorite! He comes complete with his bindle, camera, pocket-knife, and razor and stands approximately 7-inches tall. The Hitchhiker (Briefly called "Nubbins" in part 2) appears in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and the first sequel, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. He is portrayed by Edwin Neal as a mentally unstable cannibal and grave robber, he lives with his equally depraved family, the Sawyers, in the back roads of Texas, capturing, torturing and feasting on unwary travellers. [4] [4] The Hitchhiker is first seen in the The Texas Chain Saw Massacre film walking along a road, where he is picked up by a group of friends traveling through the area, who feel sorry for him having to walk in the heat. The Hitchhiker soon begins acting erratically after being allowed into the traveller's van, slashing his own hand with a straight razor; after Franklin Hardesty (Paul A. Partain) refuses to buy a picture he took of him, the Hitchhiker sets the photo on fire and slashes Franklin's arm with a straight razor before being kicked out of the van. The Hitchhiker briefly chases after the van, yelling and smearing a bloody handprint on it, but soon relinquishes his attack on it. JS080309 002
After 60 years trading not a car in sight at the former SMC MG Rover dealership in High Wycombe (where I bought my current car). There has been a garage on the site since 1947 when it opened as Gregory's before being taken over by Henlys and Cowies (for Leyland, Austin Rover and Rover) among others before SMC bought the franchise in 2002. It's reported that MG Rover owned the site before putting it up for sale in 2005. SMC tried to buy the site but were outbid, and when the lease expired at the end of February that was that. The buildings will be flattened to make way for a 'Big Yellow' storage warehouse. Ah, well.
