Black Cooler Replacement Faucet - Red Touch Guard
Tomlinson is the foremost name in drip-less water cooler faucets. These replacement faucets are industry standard. The faucet has a polypropylene body with internal 3/8"-18 NPS threads. Strong and durable, these faucets are designed for years of service. The drip-less feature of the faucet reduces the chance of a slip and fall accident due to a wet floor. They come in both a standard lever and child-safe lever. Child-safe, Touch Guard, levers come in blue (cold water), red (hot water) and white (room temperature water). Touch Guard handles require that the handle be squeezed together, front to back, while simultaneously pushing the handle down. This 2-step handle operation means small children cannot turn the water on. It is recommended that all hot water taps have a red Touch Guard type handle to help prevent scald accidents. This item will not fit Vertex brand water coolers.
78% (16) A Christmas Carol (Explored) . . A Christmas Carol Once upon a time there were two brothers in France, Jules and Jacques. They lived in a remote part of the Pyrenees mountains and they knew no greater joy than roaming in the lush valleys bedecked with abundant meadow flowers and climbing the steep rocky mountainsides to where the eagle flies and the snow never melts. They possessed the agility of the capricorn that lives at these heights and were as courageous as the bears that inhibit these parts. They knew the names of all the trees and flowers and engaged in long conversations with the birds that would come to them and let themselves be touched by them. Because all animals knew Jules and Jacques would never harm them. Each year, with the advent of winter, their parents, good simple country folk, would tell the boys to stay inside. Outside the howling of woolfs could sometimes be heard and more than once a sheep was stolen from the herd by a hungry animal of prey. One Christmas morning, however, Jules and Jacques ignored their parents and went out to play in the snow that was falling hard. Such was the intensity of their play that they didn't pay attention to where they were going and the landscape being completely covered in snow they soon lost their bearing. Their trail had already disappeared and no familiar landmark was to be seen. After long hours trying to find the way back home, they were overtaken by cold, hunger and fatigue, but luckily they found a cave to take shelter. When they ventured deeper into the cave they noticed a bright light shining through a hole in the wall of the cave. With their bare hands they enlarged the hole until it was wide enough to look through. And what they saw astonished them, because on the other side of the wall was a beautiful summer landscape bathing in sunlight. Attracted by the prospect of warmth and possibly food and an enormous sense of discovery, they broke away the remaining rock so that the hole was big enough to slip through. Once they were on the other side, they found themselves in what they could only describe as paradise. Here, in the middle of winter, was an oasis of warm summer breezes, the delightful fragrance of flowers, humming bees and the gentle stirring sound of a small river. Overhead was the sun that was standing at its zenith. Soon enough, they found nuts and berries to eat, and thus having nourished themselves, they stripped to their underwear and went bathing in the cool waters of the river. After some time, however, they reminded eachother of their parents. How they would be missed by them and maybe even think the worst. It was time to go home. They returned to what they thought was the place where they had entered this Shangri- La, but however much they looked for it, they couldn't find the hole in the wall that would allow them to return to their own world. Returning to the river they sank into a despondant mood when they heard a rustling of leaves and when they looked up, two sturdy looking horses approached them. Not knowing what to make of these horses, they backed off a little bit and waited to see what would happen. The horses then told them about their predicament. Only once a year, during Christmas, the hole in the rock opened from the other side to let anyone in who wanted to spend their lives in this earthly paradise, but it was always closed from this side and so the brothers would have to resign themselves to living in paradise for eternity. And so they did. They lived in eternal summer and ate the food that nature proffered, but once a year, on Christmas morning, they would look for the hole in the wall, without ever finding it. But they knew they were close to it, because each year they would faintly hear the voices of their parents, who were calling out to them, until their parents grew too old and finally died. For Marjolijn, who made this possible. Diving into the sky / #HDRworkshop
After a ridiculously long day of travel yesterday, I finally arrived here in Austin. As I've said before, many times, its all perspective. For me, a 5 hour plane delay in Atlanta means only one thing, its time to scramble over to Concourse E for some sushi and a glass of Cote de Rhone! Luck of the draw has found me here at Trey Ratcliff's first ever HDR workshop. I must say that after 13 hours, I am wondering where the time went! Trey has long been sort of an internet artistic mentor to me, so it was really cool to be able to attend to meet him face to face. His unique view of art, vision, and photography is always very insightful. After starting the class out with a little foundational theory and perspective, he launched into a little healthy critique of a few images. This process is always quite useful to the developing artist in all of us. Soon after that, the whole class explored a bit of the historical Driskall Hotel for a little shooting instruction and demo. We then scoured the lobby and bar interiors looking for our own unique perspectives. Soon after reconvening in the class, it was time to watch Trey work his magic. After viewing hundreds of his images over the past couple of years, it was really cool to watch the process from start to finish. After some intense processing and finishing techniques, it was time to head out to dinner with the gang to a place called the Oasis. Over looking several lakes, this multi level restaurant has a million open patios cut into the hillside (kinda like Santorini) to explore while capturing the incredible Texas sun paint the sky with its brilliant warmth. Oh yeah, its pretty freakin' cold here! After dinner, it was time for a bit more processing and casual classroom instruction. I must say, I have picked up a few tips and am really happy I was able to be part of this inaugural event. For those of you who weren't able to get in, first off, sorry about that! Maybe he'll do a few more of these, you never know. If so, I definitely recommend it! This image above was created today from a shot or two from the the Oasis restaurant, and a couple of textures as well. The new package of 150 were also included in the workshop. Cool, very cool!
