I looked for a certain time at a problem affecting the passenger side heating. I replaced the DUOVALVE but the problem did not correct. I first thought that the scrap issued valve was faulty as well so I bench checked it and it revealed good. So it must have been somewhere else >> some hose was blocked with the typical glycol corrosion by-product. I screwdriver and the garden hose came to the rescue. The reason of this corrosion could be that the previous owner almost never used the passenger side heater...

Officially you should check the vacuum control valves by turning the engine off and check with the residual vacuum. You can also put in a T joint and connect a vacuum meter. Then you can check while the car is running or during driving.
