Torx 5 Screwdriver : Hollow Mortise Chisel And Bit. Torx 5 Screwdriver
Salvation Fortunately, Dearborn is home to Duke's Hardware. There was actually a Home Depot right next to the hotel, but I didn't even consider it. What are the chances that they'd have a #5 Torx driver? Or any Torx screwdrivers? I don't even have any faith that the average Despot employee has even heard of Torx. "That's, um, the plus-sign-shaped one, right?" he or she will say, patting themselves on the back for remembering that there's this bizarre "other" kind of screwdriver on the market. Duke's is such the complete opposite of Home Despot that if the two were ever to come in physical contact with each other, there'd be a cataclysmic explosion that would destroy all matter in the Universe. At Duke's there'd be no question of whether they had a #5 Torx driver. It'd just be a matter of deciding if I wanted the deluxe model with the compass and the flashlight built into the handle. Brace yourselves...we're goin' in: Step 5
Now for the "fun" part. You need to unscrew all the screws, but hand on they look a bit funny. Indeed they aren't normal screws, they are "tamper proof" torx screws. Now you can either buy a T10 Torx Screwdriver with the little hole in it, you can attempt to get the little peg off the screws then using your normal T10 or you can do what I do and grab a #1 Philips screwdriver and you can wedge it to you wedge it to one side of the peg, push down hard and unscrew - it will take a while but its the best method. Side note: on the wireless pad screw #7 is under the little barcode which is inside the battery compartment. And on the wired pad its under the warranty sticker.
