Wide bottom mugs : 12 cup mr coffee : Fun mugs. Wide Bottom Mugs
Bjorn Wiinblad, Nymolle, Mid Century Danish Pottery July Mug and Saucer This is a great little set of 2 mugs and saucers made by Danish Designer, Bjorn Winnblad for the Nymolle Pottery House in the 1960s. These pieces are hard to find, especially in as good as condition as these ones are with both the matching mug and saucer. These pieces are part of a theme he did that showed the courtship of a couple over the course of a year from their introduction to marriage and the birth of their child in December. The months in this listing are for August and July. All the pieces have no major chips, cracks or damage. They do have a few areas where the glaze is worn on the bottom of the saucers and one saucer has some mild black marks on the bottom which I believe are from when they were made (not a stain). The mugs are 2.5 inches tall by 4 inches wide with handle and the saucers are 6 inches wide and half an inch tall. Set of 4 - Kitschy Jean Themed Pottery Mugs
Yes they are kitschy but they are also totally fantastic! A set of 4 Jean mugs made in 1981 (Initials and date on bottom)that are in absolutely beautiful condition. I have seen lots of these mugs being sold individually but not to often a matching set of 4! Each mug is 3.5 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide (with handle) and 3 inches across. There is one mug that has one extremely miniature chip that I didn't even try to photograph even with my macro lens. And other then a few small blemishes on the inside where the finish has lifted, these mugs are in wonderful condition. You could use them for your daily morning coffee or as strictly display pieces. I actually think they would make gorgeous vases lined up on a windowsill full of yellow daisy's.
