  • A fan heater is a heater that works by using a fan to pass air over a heating element. This heats up the air, which then leaves the heater, warming up the surrounding area. They can provide very rapid heating of a room, however may be relatively noisy in operation.
  • A fan heater is a convection heater incorporating fan forced air circulation to provide much quicker and more even heat distribution.

  • Retro was the only EP (7") by Ultravox, then Ultravox!, released on February 10 1978. It was the last recording released by the band as Ultravox!. Also this was the last disc featuring original guitarist Stevie Shears, who left the band after its release.

CLOVIS UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT BUS 32
Bus 32 was one of five 1963 model Crown Busses Clovis had. These were their first set of busses with diesel engines as well as their first set of Crown busses. The driver who had this bus new in 1963 started driving in Clovis in 1958 before they were a unified school district. He drove this bus when it snowed in Clovis in 1963. I actually saw pics he took of bus 32 in the snow. I really wished I had them. When he first started driving in 1958, he drove for Jefferson Elementary School District in Clovis. When Clovis became unified in 1959, he worked in the middle of the night during the hot summer and painted Clovis Unified School District on all the busses. He has told me alot of old bus stories from back in the day. This bus also had a microphone on a bending arm (like city busses have today) mounted above the driver's left window. Pic was taken in March of 1990.

This heater works really well as U can C the heating element is on ! View large so U can C the grill logo "Tropic-Aire" This was a fairly hard shot 2 capture, getting the heating element and freeze'n the fan blade @ the same time ! Design wise I would call this piece Art Deco meets Mid Century It has elements of both ! "No pun intended" !
