Oscar's Stereo System / Antique Integrated Stereo Amplifier
A late 1950's vintage integrated hi-fi stereo system, rescued from the garbage several years ago during spring cleanup, complete with all its tubes ("valves", for all you Englishmen). This unit is a Lafayette model 236A and uses EL84's for output. I replaced the front power light with a violet/blacklight LED and it looks quite hypnotic when powered in the dark. This little stereo system sounds way better than my Dynaco Stereo 70 that I am currently using on a daily basis with my computer sound card, iPod, FM tuner and police band scanner.

Shoulder and Pneumatics
Shot of the shoulder joint and the pneumatics system that drives the suction cup through the use of a venturi. The vacuum lines are routed through the arm tubes to the manipulator. The emergency shut off switch is also on the top, in case the robot is remotely activated by Cyberdyne's SKYNET to begin the takeover of all humanity as we know it!
