We had a fantastic field trip to Seattle.  The weather was great and the kids learned tons!

A special thanks to the chaperones who came with us, slept on the floor and took great care of all our students!!!!

GUEST SPEAKERS

Noelle's grandparents were in town last week from Canada.  They were able to  join us on our field trip to Amon Creek and then came to class Monday the 11th for a presentation on water.  Dr. Gordon Young is the president of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences and has a long list of impressive accomplishments. We appreciate the time he took to spend with us.

Haley's dad, Glen Warren, visited our classroom June 1st to share a bit about radiation and his role at Hanford. He brought Geiger counters, which the kids were able to use to explore radiation in the classroom and in the objects that Mr. Warren brought with him.

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR PRESENTERS!!!
