Welcome to our 5th grade website.  It is a work in progress! Homework will be posted on the site consistently (barring any unforeseen computer issues!). If your child has finished an assignment, there will be a circled check in their agenda. The rubrics/guidelines are now linked, but I will continue to send home paper copy rubrics as well.
Reminders for parents:
  • Encourage your child to fill in their agenda exactly as I have it on the board. 
  • Reading logs are to be turned in Monday AM and count as a grade in the grade book in Reading.
  • If your child is in the Gifted program and misses an assignment, please put your name on that workbook page (journal page, lined paper, etc.) date, and write GIFTED across the page.  Any ongoing project work that is missed is expected to be made up.
  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are ice cream days.  All $1!!!
PARENT REMINDERS: Enjoy sharing your child's progress with them by checking out their portfolios on Monday-Tuesday night.  Please sign the pink sheet and return by Wednesday.
Don't forget to sign your child's reading log before Monday morning!
