Hi, USAF guys, Welcome to my page. I am Conrad Layton, I was a Crew Chief/Scanner on WB-29s and WB-50s. I served in the 55th SWRS 1952-53 and the 58th SWRS 1953-55. I'm searching for 58th, 55th or 375th Weather Recon guys that served at Eielson or Ladd, or Shemia AFB, Alaska, Kirtland AFB New Mexico or McClellan AFB, CA., Guam and other points .  I have almost 500 names on our roster and mailing list. I also maintain an "Honor Roll" for our deceased Officers and Airmen. Our group holds a reunion every year in June at Branson, MO.  OUR 12th reunion will held June 13,14,15, 2012, WE  WANT YOU ON OUR ROSTER.  Contact me and I will get you on the mailing list. If you know of any deceased members, let me know and I will add them to our "Honor Roll".  Also if you have any really great photos of events or stories that happened while you were in the AF, send them to me, I will edit them and add them to our reunion program which I hand out every year. You can reach me by clicking on this e-m address. Be sure to put 55th or 58th in the subject line.     conradlay@aol.com

NEWS LETTER
I'm very pleased right now about how many new guys from the 58th At Kirtland we have added to the roster and mailing list.  Most are from the 60's & 70's.  All seem to be really excited, and glad someone is getting the guys together.  That should make us old 50's guys feel a little younger.   Nine of these guys attended our 2011 reunion  this June.  We are also getting some the younger guys from the 55th at McClellan AFB.

Also a few from the other Weather outfits have been contacting me.   They are finding my web page and wanting to know if I know of anything going on in their groups. I tell them I don't, but I always extend them a welcome to our group.  If you like the newsletter section let me know. If you don't like it tell me what I can do to make it better.  I'll take all the help I can get. (grin) If you know of anything that might add to it let me know. This is a list of some of the new guys from Kirtland.
