Onelook is an online resource that ties together many different dictionaries. One word can have many different definitions, but as you read through all the definitions, you should start to notice a common theme that runs through all the definitions. Onelook also provides a source for etimology as well. 

Podcasts: it has an ability to get choice category from what kind of information you want to use that is sent to you rather than you having to go look for it and it is a GOOD thing for the podcasts.  

RSS-Real Simple Syndicaton- Where a user can subscribe and have web feed information such as blog, entries, news, audio, and video sent automatically to them via emai.

Hypertext-Text on the internet that is hyperlinked and can be click on to link to another site with relevant information.

Description on the websites to see if it is reliable or not

If you want to go to the website such as authority, accuracy, fairness, and recency

.edu - it is reserved for higher education and it is more reliable than other websites

.gov - it is even better since it is more strict from what it is put on and it is MORE reliable

Wikipedia- it is written by many people and it is not necessarily reliable. You need to look at the references to see if the actual peer reviewed articles cited and need to check if there are missing citations. 


Google Scholar

Google Scholar is a website where one can look for scholarly publications including journal articles, abstracts, peer-reviewed papers from respectable sources. Some of the features of Google Scholar are being able to search different sources, finding academic papers, locating the full paper online or through a library, and learning about papers in all areas of research. 

World Heritage Sight: is a cultural or natural sight that is on the list maintained by the international World Heritage Program administered by the UNESCO World Heritage committee which is composed of 21 state parties that are elected by their General Assembly for a four-year term.  Each site is the property of the state upon which whose territory the site is located, however, it is considered in the interest of the international community to preserve each site.
