The 4th Street Festival was created in 1977 by Bloomington, Indiana area artists and craftspeople to showcase southern Indiana talent. The fair has grown to include artists from all over the country.

The festival was recently rated in the top 50 shows in the country by the Art Fair SourceBook.

The Fourth Street Committee will show the submitted slides on April 12, 2012, 6pm, Informatics East, room 130, on the IU campus.

Excited about Bloomington's Fourth Street Festival of Arts and Crafts?

For just two hours of time on Labor Day Weekend,
you can help the Midwest's premier art show run smoothly -
and you'll receive a collectible festival T-shirt! 

Volunteers are needed to:

Staff the information booth
Assist with artist check-in
Provide hospitality to artists
Assist with the children's art tent
Assist with show setup and tear down
Place and monitor traffic barricades at show entrances
Setup trash and recycling barrels

Local artists organize this 35 year Labor Day weekend tradition-
help them make it a success!
