FOR PETE'S SAKE

Campaigning for the release of Pete Moore

The Plight of Peter Moore and his fellow Captives

Peter Moore and his four bodyguards - Jason, Alan, Jason and Alec were kidnapped from the Iraqi Ministry of Finance in Baghdad on May 29th 2007.  This website has been set up by Pete's friends to raise awareness of his and his fellow captives' plight and campaign for Peter's release.

All of us who have met, worked, or travelled with Pete can testify to what an fantastic man he is.  Take a moment to post a message of support for Pete, Jason, Alan, Jason, and Alec and share your stories.

It is hoped that if more can be known about Pete and the ideals he represents, then pressure can be brought to bear upon those in a position to negotiate for his and his fellow captives release. Past experiences have shown that sustained campaigns for the release of hostages can produce results - Terry Waite and Alan Johnston for example.
