Cooking sous vide Asparagus. I used press-n-seal in place of a vacuum sealer, and rigged my own "thermal emersion circulator" with a large pot of water on the stove with a thermometer and a timer. The small coffee mug is to add weight. Otherwise the small air bubbles in the press-n seal made it float!

I bought an aeropress coffee maker and it arrived the other day. It's a positive pressure press that from what I can tell so far, makes a really nice cup of coffee. It's made by aerobie - the people that make those flying ring things.
