Border Boarders

Subsidizing interested Americans to vacation along the Rio Grande River

Mexican Boarder with Stimulus dollars instantly populates that vast

wasteland currently used as cover for illegal immigration.  Landowners

now being inundated with border wall construction would instead have

vacationing citizens to greet/introduce to the patrolling Boarder Patrol

Officers.  Campgrounds such as these could staff via stimulus dollars

Forest Rangers.

USA investments in experienced Boarder Patrol resources are in this

way enhanced with citizens available to report on any boarder crossings

in the vicinity of camp sites leaving the Rangers to patrol more difficult

terrain.

Giving priority to vacationing members of our armed forces and police

departments alleviates any fear that kidnappers will then abduct folks

camping out there.  Such operations can be thwarted easily.  Border Patrol

visits are one way to prevent such incidents.

Is is also a great means of Border Patrol work load lightening by our

citizens who'd appreciate the incentive and would bring their own

camcorders.  Additional incentives for Infra Red capable camcorders

can be offered such as FREE rechargeable batteries.  Or even actual

if only disposable IR equipped camcorders.

1700 mile border need not have campers every mile.  Installing solar

powered SAT-phone/cell-phone charging stations at each camp site keeps

campers connected to our Border Patrol.  WiMax/LTE provides laptop use

as well.

As "spring breaker's" discover cheap camping, communing with nature,

interacting with Rio Grande American land owners and entrepreneurial

Mexican and fellow citizens we work out problems avoided by "walling"

off this region of our countries.

Ask the American land owners if that wall is better than recurring,

subsidized, campers.  US government has a long history of supporting

business development.  Border camping can be just as beneficial.

Alternate calendar days for Mexicans to float along the river selling

snacks alleviates low wage competition with Americans who may wish to

establish such businesses along the river as well.  IF that is too

"uncompetitive" then every other week should be just as easy to do.

after a few years of such a practice perhaps Mexican entrepreneurs

will compete with American purveyors of provisions, or just snacks,

from boats travelling along the Rio Grande.

This way Americans and Mexicans benefit from border camp outs rather

than endeavouring to evade and detect each other.
