I don't know how I pissed off the gods of gravity, but they have decided to take me out in the slowest, most painful way possible. You'd think that breaking one's back would be punishment enough, but NO! I got up this morning, and headed down the stairs to let the cat in when suddenly I'm at the bottom of the stairs on my butt. Somehow in that 8 vertical feet, I managed to do a number on my right hand. It hurt pretty bad and thinking I was gonna pass out I laid on the couch for a while, trying not to bleed all over everything. While there, I began to wonder how I became so accident prone. Yeah, I am kind of big and clumsy, but I've never really thought of myself as hazardous. Doobie came home. Kinda felt sorry for me. Kinda laughed at me. We're thinking (hoping) it's a sprain and that the $4 ACE bandage will be the extent of the medical costs. Somehow I don't think I could come up with a t-shirt for this one. Oh, and we didn't drink coffee until way late at night. But it was the screen dried through a gold filter and both Doobie and I were talking second cup by the bottom of this serving. But as I was already pretty shaky (hence out of focus) we passed.
