With support of Seixal City Hall, will be held an international championship of chinese martial arts, for the Traditional Kung Fu.

This is a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge, cultures, experiences and above all to promote traditional chinese martial arts in Portugal.

This championship is divided into two competitions:

 - 24^th of July Taolu, Competition starting at 14h00 and ending 19h00.

  - 25^th of July Qingda Competition starting at 09h00 and ending 14h00 

(weighings will be at 08h00).

The championship is intended only and exclusively the Traditional Kung Fu and is not open to the strand of Modern Wushu.

It is required for the athletes to have a personal accident insurance to participate in the competition, otherwise the athletes will be prevented from participating in it.

Taolu Competition it will be divided into the following categories:

- Under-15 (athletes with 15 years or under 15 years)

- Under-17 (athletes with 16 years to 17 years)

- Senior Beginner (athletes with 18 years or more and with a year of practice)

- Senior Intermediate (athletes with 18 years or more and 2 years of practice)

- Senior Advanced (athletes with 18 years or more and 3 years of practice or more)

Each category includes all Internal Styles and External Styles.

The “Weapons External Style” event will be divided into categories of weapons:

- Short Weapons (eg: staff, spear, trident. halberd, da dao, and others)

- Long Weapons (eg: saber, sword, short rods, cais, hook swords, and others)

- Flexible Weapons (eg: whip, sectional staff, fan, rope dart, and others)

Will be provided transportation to all athletes housed in the “Centro Lazer” in Costa de Caparica, to the place of championship.

The bus will depart saturday, 24th of July, at 13h00. Sunday will depart at 07h30.
