Welcome to the Ventures!!!

Welcome to 45th Mount Argus Venture Unit. Venturing in Scouting Ireland is for young people aged 15 to 18 years of age. It offers the opportunity for Ventures to mature and develop through activities and events that are designed by the Ventures themselves.

In the Venture programme the emphasis is on the ventures having more responsibility in the choosing of activities and planning and preparation of these events. We also try to have a bigger part to play within the community and take on larger projects as part of youth development. The Venture programme is usually based around Adventure, Personal Development, Skills, Service, Social and Spiritual and of course fun.
