Welcome! Some of you are here because you already know us and you want to read the latest tips and marketing blogs from 440, but some of you have no idea who we are and stumbled across this site either by referral or through a MySpace link! Well, my name is Amy Houck, I started 440 Artist Alignment to effectively brand, market, and design for artists in a forever changing online environment. I recently resigned from Universal Music Group to start this business, and it has been amazing! I have marketed and designed for many artists under the Universal umbrella, and was a head designer for Island Def Jam. I have seen how the corporate structure works, and as much as I admire it, it is to large to change fast enough to keep up with today's online media opportunities. So, I started 440 to be able to constantly restructure and shift around a fast paced industry! There are a lot of things that make 440 different from other marketing companies but the main thing is passion. Marketing is our life. We eat sleep and breathe it...but most important we love it, it is our passion! We enjoy taking the time to explain what our experience tells us is effective and why certain techniques work better then others.
