 Speech Disorder Overview

     One in 10 Americans has a communication disorder. It is the largest population of challenged Americans, at 49,000,000 people.  

     Those affected by speech disorders suffer negative social effects when they are unable to:
          Express feelings
          Obtain quality employment
          Health and safety are at risk when they are unable to:
          Indicate an emergency
          Communicate their condition and needs to others
