The Southend Section of the Forty Plus Cycling Club meets in Rayleigh High Street at the top of Crown Hill and riders usually join up with others at the Rettendon Roundabout (the old Turnpike) and at an elevenses stop. As well as the Southend area we have riders from other places in Essex such as Woodham Ferrers, Wickford, Basildon, Billericay, Chelmsford, Danbury, Canvey Island and Writtle. We stop for lunch usually at an Essex pub. Details of the runs can be seen by following the links to the left. Some riders come with us only part of the way.
New members are welcome and the Section Secretary, John Hand (telephone number above) will be pleased to hear from you if you are interested.
You can learn more about us on Southend's own web site. This page and the Southend Section website are maintained by Colin Waller who can be contacted through the link on the other site.
