Automatic Direct Mount Water-Cooled-to-the-Tip Machine Barrels The fully Water-Cooled-to-the-Tip NCM-W/C-T & HTM-W/C-T Machine Barrels are applied to a Direct Mount DOCKING SPOOL. The D/F Machine Robotic Water-Cooled-to-the-Tip Barrels are designed to provide long trouble-free service. With the various models available, a selection may be made to suit individual requirements. The Direct Mount fully Water-Cooled-to-the-Tip DOCKING SPOOL® accommodates two (2) Water Cooled Nozzle Assemblies. This arrangement is readily adaptable to Dedicated or Automatic Welding applications. The equipment consists of four (4) basic components: a utility station, an intermediate utilities combination assembly, a High Deposition (H.D.) DOCKING SPOOL®, and a Water Cooled Nozzle. The H.D. DOCKING SPOOL® is the principal component in this welding equipment arrangement. It accepts the utilities at the top end of the Spool and provides a means of accepting the water cooled nozzle at the lower end. Several features important to a welding system are provided. Incorporated within the water channels of the DOCKING SPOOL® are check valves which provide a means of retaining residual water in the lines when the nozzle assembly is removed from the DOCKING SPOOL®. In addition a POSIT® Ring is provided at the upper end of the DOCKING SPOOL® which allows positive location in a Mounting Bracket to maintain dimensional stability. These welding assemblies are designated by Models. The Model NCM has a current capacity 750/850 amperes in argon shielding. These accommodate slip-in current tips fastened by a collet action nut. The wire diameter range with hard wire is .030"-.062" , cored wire .035"-1/8", and aluminum wire range of .035"-3/32". The Model HTM has a current capacity range of 500/650 amperes. Rating will be contingent on the combination of current tip and shielding gas to be used. The Model HTM employs threaded current tips and will accommodate .030” - 1/16” hard wire, .035” - 7/64” cored wire and 3/64” - 3/32” aluminum wires. Gravel Screener
Ready to Install. The bottom 3 inches rests in concrete and then a wire filter goes in the green pipe then gets covered with a bucket cut to stay about 4 inches above the floor level and force the water flow along the bottom of the pit where the and has settled. It seems to do a good job of preventing vortexes so I can get the pit emptied to just an inch or so before the big pump loses its prime. The swiveled fitting is a supply line for fresh water inside the filter to keep some flow going if it ever completely clogs with gravel around it. The smaller pea gravel mixed in the clay is very small and passes through the filters and check valve without any trouble and the bigger pieces of broken concrete collect around the outside and I scoop them up and save them to add to future concrete mixes.
