3 Way Globe Valve

A valve with a linear motion, push-pull stem, whose one or more ports and body are distinguished by a globular shaped cavity around the port region.

A globe valve is a type of valve used for regulating flow in a pipeline, consisting of a movable disk-type element and a stationary ring seat in a generally spherical body.

A valve that lets you adjust the flow of water to any rate between fully on and fully off. Also see Gate Valve.

It's been about 2 years since I photographed Katelyn, the daughter of friends Jen and Dave. I've had this shot in mind for some time... and it actually worked Nikon D80 + 35mm f1.8 with 2 ND filters stacked for 8 stops. 3 SB24s on a 3-way bracket in a 28" apolo westcott softbox. The bracket was in the back of the softbox with the flashes facing the diffuser. All triggered at 1/1. All triggered with PT-04 triggers
