Our Mission Statement  

It is our mission to ensure and enhance the well being of our residents, and to preserve and protect our lifestyle and our property.  This includes the following: 

• Maintain liaison with county government, local law enforcement, fire departments, and forest administrators , as a group large and cohesive enough to cross their threshold of awareness and concern, so as to ensure communication in times of need or stress. 
• Cultivate communication and disseminate information to all residents and property owners through the Town Council via  mailings, e-mail, these web pages, meetings, community functions, and during emergencies. 

• Facilitate mutual assistance in times of natural disasters, such as fire, earthquake,  flood, and other ills to which our rural environment might be heir.  

• Maintain our rural atmosphere through  voter-approved Community Standards.
•  Protect our area , through mounted opposition, from any party intending to damage our environment or lifestyle.
