Park Cone Wrenches

(Cone wrench) A cone wrench is a tool used in bicycle maintenance to access flats on axles where very little of the axle is exposed. It is similar to an open-ended wrench but much thinner: typically about 2 mm thick, compared to approximately 15 mm for a standard open-ended wrench.

(Cone Wrench) A special thin wrench required to adjust the bearing cones on a hub. Most front hubs use a 13 mm, most rears use 15 mm.

Campagnolo Tools

Campagnolo makes some really nice tools. Most of their best are the frame facing and cutting tools used to prepare a frame for assembly. These two are semi-obsolete. The flat wrenches are cone wrenches for adjusting the bearing cones on older Campagnolo hubs. They work well, are tough, don't slip and don't gouge. But bearings aren't adjusted the same way they used to be, so I use them for centering work on caliper brakes mostly. The t-handled tool is for installing the old Campagnolo road brake levers. They had an impossible to reach nut that tightened the clamp onto the handlebars. Impossible, unless you had this tool. Nicely finished tool though. Good to carry in your hand.

Chopped this Park 19mm cone wrench to be able to easily tension an ENO Eccentric hub. Easily fits in a seat bag.
