Literally :) See that tension on the ball? The way it's about to pop out of his mouth? Well, it did :) And not only once! The first time, it hit my camera, right above the lens, then in my back. That one really hurt, I yelped and I swear if it was anyone but Ouzo I would have kicked their butts! I was sitting in the grass here, a couple of feet from the alley, playing with Ouzo in yesterday's late afternoon light. My worst fear was sitting in someone's poop - after checking for hidden turds, I decided it was safe. So after about 5 minutes of photographing the dog and being hit with this incredibly annoying rubber ball :), I turn around to pick it from where it had landed, and I see it next to a brownish twig. Something inside of me told me to jump, so I did. And then the twig moved!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a SNAKE!!!! Right next to the ball! Not a big one, but still... a SNAKE! I only saw part of its body, as it was moving around the ball. It had probably landed on him, like a meteoroid from the sky ;) I managed to pull the ball with the tip of my shoe and grab my dog and get out of there! This whole area is surrounded by wetlands, and, theoretically, I should have known to expect such a thing. I've seen some before, but none so close. It makes my skin crawl even now as I type this. Anyway, I've been experimenting with different processing techniques and discovered some Lightroom actions - therefore you all have to put up with me - oops :) Explore - Highest position: 273 on Saturday, September 19, 2009

Here is a little preview of what I have been working on for the last weeks. I have been very busy with school, so I am sorry things have been going so slow. This is a fully configurable Magpul Industries Corp. ® MIAD grip. You have your two front straps, and three back straps. I have the M backstrap done, and still have to make the S en L. I also have to do the insert for the grip. The stippling, pin, and trademarks still have to be added. I think I am going for regular, round stippling, not the real Magpul ® Logo grip texture, it would make the code way too big. I would like to thank Miko, for aiding me through the process, and Woitek for making the thumb thingy and giving me some advanced shading advice. Thank you all! I can't promise when everything will be done, but it will be in the near future. Then I will post the pastie. For extra information, check out the notes! PS This is 99.9% shapes! Unfortunately there was no way doing this withour white shapes. They are in the correct spot though, they will not hinder you.
