Built and described by Mervyn Cooper

Starts at 4 track terminus of Kingswear which has 4 sidings, goods yard and loco shed equipped with turntable and coal loading ramp with coal wagon track to the top. There is a double crossover between two tracks leading to platforms and a double slip leading to goods yard and goods shed. After passing under bridge double tracks divide with one double track going right over a viaduct past a coal mine to meet up again with the other double track both then leading via crossovers to the five track hidden sidings. On its way passes castle and version of Stonehenge

The other double track goes straight on but immediately the branch line turns off left with the entry to the single line branch coming off from both tracks. The branch line to Heathfield crosses river and ducks under mainline to enter Heathfield which has loco shed, goods shed, two goods lines and an engine release line. In the background is the canal and the double line running on an embankment. To the right of the station is the village of Heathfield complete with church, cottages, shops, pub, garage and level crossing as well as a thatched cottage on embankment. The double line carries on over the level crossing to join the double track coming over viaduct and proceed to hidden sidings.
