1) I am very short sighted and (in the past) often wear contact lenses. 2) The only thing I can do without my glasses, while still seeing clearly, is read. 3) I was a bartender from the age of 18 - 25, during which time I had studied Sociology, Psychology, Law, History at various levels sometimes at more than one place. Also studied Creative Writing and Journalism in University. 4) I forget lots, but it may be intentional because as a writer, I like to method act my way through character's lives. It is hugely enjoyable to change yourself. 5) When I was doing some Journalism, I found asking questions in character easier, but felt deceptive. 6) If I hear about somebody's negative traits I may, if not careful, take them on as my own as it's easier to understand than positive ones. 7) I am fascinated by mentalism, but had to stop learning so much about it because I could not help myself and became too conscious of things, I also accidentally stole things. Again, I have forgotten a lot. 8) Dreams of being an excentric, quirky, but cool writer with a goofy sense of humour. Yet feels self conscious when people find me excentric, quirky or goofy. 9) Will often pretend not to know something because I have impossibly high standards to reach before I'll allow myself to comment, because too many people replace knowledge with arrogance. 10) I would rather damage my self-image than to allow certain things be known. I am self-destructive. 11) Loves Charlie Kaufman movies. 12) Is an avid comic book reader and is impressed how people can still find new ways to tell tales about decades old characters... Even if they retcon those stories out. 13) Used to be more about the art than the words, but words was first, I had just forgotten. My mind plays it's own retcon tricks. 14) On top of my regular and not so regular problems, I worry about inheriting my mother's psychotic depression and wonder if there's a time I'm going to lose my mind. This makes me too aware of things, but at the same time, sloppy. 15) My dream job would be none, but bouncing around all sorts of writing projects would be ideal. On top of that I'd like to travel a lot. 16) Staying in one place too long is detrimental to my sense of self, being seen as static and without contradictions is bad for me. Why are contradictions seen as bad things? I tag: Andi, Cia, Nat, Hell, Simmi, Clare, Ari, Ina, and Shelly
STANLEY
STANLEY
This cute guy belongs to my daughter and her husband. He is Peter and Foppe's son and they have named him Stanley. Considering this poor thing was very wild....living under bushes and wild as wild could be, he is doing remarkably well. He had NEVER used a litter box at all. They took him from here two weekends ago when visitng and stopped on the way home and bought cat supplies. He has NEVER had an accident and used the litter box immediately. He has a few toys and stays inside all the time. They both teach school so he is alone all day long....but that seems to be OK with Stanley. He just gets a ton of attention when they come home. The only downfall....my daughter now cannot wear her contact lenses. She now has to wear her glasses once again. Her eyes tear and itch and they both her a great deal. Yes, she thinks she is allergic to cats....it almost seems like what else could it be. This adorable little baby is living the life of Riley......I hope all continues to go well. He looks identical to his Father, Peter.....the once rescued cat.
