Eric Katsung March Update

posted Mar 26, 2010 9:03 AM by Mike Chu

Eric Katzung – The Navigators – Taiwan

Taiwan was not excluded from the many large earthquakes happening around the world recently.  In Changhua, we are thankful there is little damage and everyone is safe.  On the other hand, God has been shaking the ground for our church in many other ways this year.  Next month, we are excited to move into our new rental location.  He has also been blessing us this year as we focus on “Seeking the Face of God.” The church is learning together to personally know God as he reveals himself to us in the Scriptures.  Also praise God, as we share about Jesus in our relationships, there has been many new members in our body.  I will try to regularly update additional pictures, stories, praises and prayers at missiontaiwan.com.

Praises:

  • University students are pursuing personal relationships with Jesus.
  • Church’s desire to share the Gospel more actively with family and friends.
  • Provision of a larger building to rent near to the main campus gates.

Prayers:

  • Growth in our relationships with God as we Seek His Face.
  • More young men believers.
  • Dependence on God as I try to daily use Chinese.

God’s Works and Our Prayers - Psalm 111

‘Great are the works of the LORD, studied by all who delight in them.
Full of splendor and majesty is his work, and his righteousness endures forever.   He has caused his wondrous works to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and merciful.’

Some praise highlights from the past few months, please read the attached letter for the prayer details and check out the photos on my website:

  • Andy was baptized just a few weeks ago!
  • W is already seeing life with new meaning as God reminds him of his value as a Child of God!
  • Samuel shared that he wanted to start to slowly know God personally.
  • ShaoU wants to learn how to better be a servant of God for them so they may also be saved
  • The church hopes to start worshipping together in the new location for Easter weekend and wants to send out graduates and members throughout Taiwan equipped to follow Christ in everyday life!
  • have seen God’s incredible faithfulness each day!  It is refreshing to look to Him for all my satisfaction.

Thank you for your prayers, they are very valuable and I can see God’s answers first-hand!
