Lifetime Dream # 59 of my list of 155: I will tour the Jasper Mountains of Alberta, Canada. I will tour the city of Jasper and soak up the culture of the city. I will hike through some of the surrounding mountains, spending the night in the city of Jasper, with a nice relaxing dinner in the city. Completed On: March 27, 2004 All of my lifetime dreams are special to me, but this one has a special place in my heart. This was the first lifetime dream that I completed, and I completed it within a year of first learning how to have dreams and achieve them. I still remember the day that I was heading out to Jasper… excited... anxious… I have since returned to Jasper and had several wonderful experiences there. The Earl’s restaurant there was wonderful, and the coffee shops are also fabulous (both in coffee and environment). I absolutely adore the Alberta mountains including both Jasper and Banff. Such a wonderful dream to complete, but a bit of a challenge to capture it 7 years after the fact and I didn’t want to just take a picture of a post card! Pictured here is a coffee mug that I got in Jasper when I was walking the town with my father in law. Banff and Jasper are two wonderful quaint little mountain towns, geared toward tourists of course, but still wonderful. I am always on the hunt for a perfect coffee cup- in style and design, and this one spoke out at me. It won’t tip over as easy at least as many others, and the bear paw always makes me remember the Jasper bear!
