THE LOGO AND THE NAME "Three Cords Counseling" comes from scripture. Solomon, one of the wisest men who ever lived, wrote about relationships in the book of Ecclesiastes. He stated that a rope (a relationship) made of two intertwined cords (people) is strong, but a rope of three cords is stronger and not likely to break. My goal as a Christian counselor and therapist is to bring myself, my client and God into the counseling relationship so that complete healing can occur. THREE ARE INDEED STRONGER THAN TWO. WHY CHRISTIAN COUNSELING As a Christian counselor I desire to help people overcome difficult life circumstances. My goal is to guide and support others in finding peace and joy in everyday living and to lead them into healthy, well-adjusted and productive lives. Although I have spent quite a number of years preparing myself educationally and clincially, I believe that God is the ultimate authority on all aspects of life. With His unlimited resources, I am able to provide a plan of treatment that focuses on healing the whole person - body, mind, soul and spirit.

A junk man came down the street where a woman was sweeping her walk. "Any old beer bottles?", he asked. Self-righteously the woman retorted, "Do I look like the kind of person who would drink beer?" "Pardon me," apologized the junk man. "Any old vinegar bottles?" (How's your 'tude'?)
A little boy watched as his mother covered her face with cold cream. "Why do you do that?", he asked. "To make myself beautiful", she replied. When she began removing the cream from her face he asked, "What's wrong? Did you give up?"
